The Handwriting Practice Collection The Handwriting Practice Collection (green borders) consists of six Student Handwriting Practice Cards. Photographic images mirror those in the alphabet frieze and in the alphabet and writing and spelling collections. Each card contains groups of five letters with similar starting points and directional movements. Regular practice using these cards will enhance fine motor co-ordination and secure and habituate the skill of correct starting points and directional movements for individual letter formations, ultimately leading to more fluent cursive writing. Use them for small group and individualized instruction in letter formations, for directed practice in writing both individual letters and basic words, and as an independent option in learning centers.
