THE LEANNA TRAILLTM INSTITUTES

Over the past nine years in seven states of the USA, evaluations and letters from participants confirm that attendance at our Institutes has impacted greatly on their educational thinking and teaching practices and has been instrumental in helping principals and teachers in many schools move more quickly towards the goal of school-wide reform.

The INSTRUCTIONAL LEADERSHIP Institute - Elementary & Middle schools
To enhance leadership skills in curriculum instruction and assessment school-wide

Bringing an institute to your district:-

Benefits:

§           Builds district capacity because teachers and principals from all represented schools share in the same comprehensive professional development experience with Leanna Traill and a team of highly experienced teachers and administrators from schools in New Zealand.

§           Develops consistency of understandings, instructional practices, terminology and assessments within individual schools and multiple schools in a district.

§            Raises the standard of curriculum planning and supports differentiated instructional delivery in classrooms and schools.

§           Enhances the instructional leaders' and individual teacher's knowledge and skills, thereby building the collective knowledge and skills base in individual schools and across a school district.

§            Encompasses sound, research based effective instructional practices for all teachers and principals.

§            Each is focussed on presenting sound educational practices and the content is not biased  for, or against, any school’s programs or materials, but rather enhances teacher knowledge and skills and confidence as professional decision makers in the classroom.

§            Builds team-ship and supports enduring schoolwide change and reform
